About the Service: 

 

Access to Aged Residential Hospital Level Care is following a Needs Assessment via Disability Support Link (DSL). 

 

A person's level of care is decided by an assessment of their needs. Te Aroha Community Hospital is contracted to provide Aged Residential Care for clients 65 years of age and over.

If an individual is assessed as requiring Continuing Care (Hospital Level) they or family / whanāu can contact our main office to enquire if a bed is available. If we do not have a bed available when the enquiry is made, you can place your name on our 'Wait List'.

There is a Daily Fee for care. Please ask your Needs Assessor about your eligibility to access a subsidy at the time of the Needs Assessment. Please refer to information provided online in regard to a Residential Care Subsidy.

We provide 24/7 nursing care and access to our local Health Practitioners. Our friendly, caring team aim to make this a welcoming and comfortable home for all long-term residents.
