Our Practice

 

Te Aroha & District Health Services Charitable Trust is a 45-bed care facility. Every resident at Lawrence House has an individual room and two rooms at the hospital is shared. The rooms are spacious for you to bring in your favourite ornaments. We want you to feel at home.

For your peace of mind, we have 24-hour RN and on-call Medical Officer cover. Our care staff are well trained to ensure they have the knowledge, understanding and ability to provide a high standard of care to our patients.

Delicious and varied meals are prepared on-site. Relatives and friends are welcome to share a meal with the residents at reasonable cost. 

​

We have activities staff who coordinate a range of entertainment and activities including celebrations and involvements with the community.

​

Laundry is done for permanent, long-term residents and returned within 24 hours. All clothes must be indelibly labelled. Ironing and simple mending is done by the staff.
