About the Service:

Meals on Wheels is a community service organised to help people live more comfortably in their own home and maintain their independence.

 

Need a break from cooking? Just fed up cooking for one? Recuperating after hospitalisation? Forgetting to eat?

​

Te Aroha Community Hospital in partnership with Te Aroha Community Support Inc. delivers delicious and nutritious meals directly to your door.

​

Alternatively, should you wish a bit of company over a mealtime, we would love you to join us for lunch! Book ahead, at $12.00 per person.

We can cater for special diets, i.e. Diabetic, Coeliac, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Soft or Pureed.

Please phone Julie at reception to book meals to be delivered Monday to Friday. Remember to phone our office to place your order on hold if you are going to be away!

Frozen meals and desserts are also available. Frozen meals are a great gift when someone is in need, or as a backup meal in the freezer. Frozen meals may be delivered with usual weekday meal as an extra for weekends or you are welcome to come to our main office to purchase as needed.
